Hi,
I guess I no longer have a Premium Account? Is the Paypal option still not available? I submitted emails about uploading manuals but have not heard back? Any help is appreciated! :)
Now we seccesfully moved all data and scripts to the new server - better, bigger & more stable than our old one.
If some functionality on the web doesn't work, please report here or by email. Thanks...
When I tried it: 1st time the "return list" was blankd, but after I did refresh the page (I am using Chrome) search results showed up normally. Trested it with random words (heroes, might, albion)
Try refreshing (maybe more times, than once)
Hi OldGamers,
I apologize for the current situation with the payment by PayPal. Actualy my PayPal account is limited, so there is no option to use their services on site www.oldgames.sk for now ;-(
I am working to solve this problem, perhaps in the future there will be another option to e-pay by another services like Moneybookers/Skrill...
If you contact me by email, I'll try to provide the temporary solution for you.
I have to second the question from matthjes. I'm newly registered, and want to upgrade to a premium account. The instructions on the premium account page don't help, and I've not had a reply to the email I sent. Can anyone help?
Could someone provide me with some information regarding paying via PayPal? There is no link on the specific site (http://www.oldgames.sk/en/premium.php), so do I have to transfer the money to some email address (if yes, what email would that be?)
Hi mark!
UltraISO can open these image files (.bin file - large binary file containing game archive), directly extract files and folders from image of the game CD.
www.free-codecs.com/download/UltraISO.htm
You may use any previous version of the UltraISO, it doesn't matter.
The .nfo files that are included with a lot of downloads you can open with notepad.
I play this game on windows xp. I think it will work on any version of Windows without XP Emulator.
Hi! I extracted the file from download of this site (7-zip) then the new folder contains 2 files that could play with VLC (a .bin file and a .cue file) and one that i can't open .nfo.
My question is... i need an emulator for windows xp ? Or what i can do for play? please help me!
Thanks for support Miguel Leal!

Hello.
I want to create a topic about one of my favourite game Magic & Mayhem (a.k.a. Duel: The Mage Wars) 1998.
Magic & Mayhem is a real-time strategy game. You're an aspiring sorcerer on a quest to find your missing uncle, a quest that takes you through over 35 mythical regions, including Celtic, Greek and Medieval realms. During your journey, you'll learn to master new spells and meet many strange creatures, taken from myth and folklore.
I hope many of old gamers know this game.
I have a lot of information and files for this game.
Thank you.
Hello.
In your FAQ and also on every exe download page it contains the following instructions:
"How to run oldgames.sk (exe) Packages without installing
If you don't have administrator right on your system (Windows XP, Vista, Seven...)
Download any (exe) package from www.oldgames.sk
Rename package name and change extension from .EXE to .7Z
Use 7-Zip archiver (or WinRAR) and unpack it to New Folder
Go to New Folder and execute file like "#play.game.bat" or "#Play.bat"
Play the game..."
However ever since you have updated to Package v2.05 (exe) it is no longer possible to extract the files with 7zip.
I managed to partially solve the problem with logging in (logout):
In the login window, new option was added "Keep me logged in", which stores login on your browser and the system automatically logs you next time. In the current situation is RECOMMENDED for all check this checkbox, it avoids the frequent problem with logout/login.
The Last Rites page describes the game as being capable of the same things as Doom. This is actually alot more advanced than Doom, it can do slopes, polygons, true 3D and even primitive lighting. It would be closer to Terminator Future Shock in its' capabilities.
I see that you have two games listed on your site with the name Catacomb; Catacomb and Catacomb, The. Is there any download available for Catacomb? The one released in 1989-1990. There is only a download for The catacomb which used to be Catacomb 2 which was released in 1990.
Thank you.
Hey there, (great site! (bytheway)),
just downloaded one of my favourite gameseries: leisure-suit-larry
by doing this I checked out that one of the links was wrong:
http://www.oldgames.sk/en/game/leisure-suit-larry-2-goes-looking-for-love-in-several-wrong-places/#download=345
It`s the *.zip file of Larry2, which if u wanna download it, is Leisure.Suit.Larry.1.zip! May be u wanna fix this.
However, the *.exe is linked correctly, so not really a "problem" to play the second part of the series :)
Eye of the Beholder has only 1 savegame file named EOBDATA.SAV, and it's in your EOB1 game directory.
If you have my package installation and default directory, this is the path:
"C:\Program Files\Oldgames\Eye of the Beholder Trilogy\C\EYE1\"
Hey guys. :) I recently downloaded your Eye Of The Beholder Trilogy pack. I finished the first EOB1 and wanted to transfer my party. When I attempt to transfer my party to EOB2, it tells me their data could not be found. Where on my computer are those files being saved to? I tried looking around for them myself, but I still can't find em. Can someone give me a hand?
Thank you ;) Phoenix. (If possible can I also get the response via email? phoenixflair@yahoo.com)
I actually tried doing that. Or rather I removed all characters from the party and then copied the whole save directory over to SotSB and tried to add PCs from Curse but no luck. :(
Hmm, this is little bit tricky, you must have the SAVE game before end of the game (before defeat of Tyranthraxus).
Here is my proceeding:
In Curse LOAD GAME, then REMOVE CHARACTER FROM PARTY (all). This action (essential) generate three save files for each character (file name = first 8 chars from char name, file extensions = .FX, .GUY, .SWG).
Copy all files from CURSE/SAVE directory to your SECRET/SAVE.
Do we have any experts on the old SSI gold box games here? I'm trying to move my PCs from the second gold box game, Curse of the Azure Bonds, to the third gold box game, Secret of the Silver Blades but I seem to be having trouble and I don't know why. Using CotAB I removed all of my PCs from the party so that they are saved PCs in Curse but for some reason I still cannot add them as new PCs in SotSB. I've tried using the menu to add PCs from Curse in SotSBs but for some reason it cannot find my PCs plus I have even tried to manually copy files from the Curse save directory to the Silver Blades save directory but nothing seems to work.
Both games were downloaded here and are the Old Games.sk editions of these games but for some reason I can't seem to transfer PCs from one game to the other and I would dearly love to since I've spent a lot of time building up these PCs. Can anyone offer any helpful suggestions?
I paid for a 1 year subscription and i can only download 1 file a minute and a maximum of 80 a day?
I thought it was unlimited downloads and I wouldn't have any timers! What gives? Why bother being premium and do highest one if it has limitations?
Dear DJ, is it possible to add some stuff to your site? I cannot find any UPLOAD link here (or is it just your policy in the matter?) I have some very hard to find and rare things (most of them in RPG and Adventure genres) which could be useful to Oldgames community (for example, full original ISO's: Azrael's Tear, Ravenloft 2: Stone Prophet, Anvil of Dawn (full > 300 Mb version); Interplay's Lord of the Rings RPG Special Edition CD etc). It would be nice to have all that stuff here in your great install packages, isn't it?
Well, Matt... maybe you'll stop messing around with this Amazon crap, please? BTW, I've bought Vivendi Sierra Collection recently - and I should admit that's a real piece of junk compared to great oldgames' releases. So Matt, could you be so kind and think twice before posting any amazon links here?
A lot of the Sierra adventure game series (King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry) have also been re-released by Vivendi Universal for about 15-20 USD each. These can be bought on Amazon.com.
