Inferno is a sequel to DID's space-combat flight simulator Epic and continues the storyline of the Rexxon - Terran conflict that began at the time of Epic. The player is in the role of Terran pilot, whose Rexxons captured and transformed into one of them. Its purpose is revenge and regaining human form. Game uses an improved engine from TFX, capable to displaying objects with textures. The missions are varied and in addition to the classic battles in space, often take place in interiors or over the surface of planets...
