Defender of the Empire is a subsequent expansion pack for Star Wars: Tie Fighter space simulator. The player flies the TIE Defender for two out of the three tours. The scenario ends abruptly, and no final knowledge of Zaarin's defection is provided. It includes three tours of duty: Strategic Warfare (Omar system), T/D Technology (Parmel system) and New Threats (Eva-T system).
