Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn je vynikajúci nástupca hry Dune 2 na poli real-time stratégií, tentokrát si vo firme Westwood vymysleli vlastný námet z blízkej budúcnosti, zameraný na vojnu medzi dvoma organizáciami - Brotherhood of Nod a Global Defense Initiative, a ťažbu tajomného minerálu Tiberium. Hra priniesla množstvo vylepšení v ovládaní jednotiek, samozrejme s možnosťou hrať za obe strany, a obsahuje aj FMV scény s filmovými hercami...
