Ja se do toho pustil taky a zatim jsem v 15 patre, ty problemy s vodou jsem nemel, jelikoz lahvicky a kouzlo lesni pramen, ale stejne je to boj. Skoro mi prijde, jak kdyby vyvojar byl placenej od zbytecnych kliku, ktery hrace donuti udelat, je to misty vetsi clickfest nez Diablo :( Jinak ten puzzle s korunou a mnohy dalsi se daji resit pomoci Teleport kouzla.
Jeste k tomu spoileru, u me to zatim nevypada na to co je tam poslane, ale zda se pri urcite urovni boje, se proste najednou zacnou urcitym nepratelum davat silena zraneni, treba ty ohne jsem dal bez vetsich problemu.

Me by zajimalo, kolik kusu se toho tehda prodalo a jak moc lidi, chtelo penize zpatky.

Ja bych od autoru cekal vetsi sebereflexi, jako technologicky demo nejakyho enginu fajn, grafika vypada nedodelana bez barev, ale dobre to vem cert, ale designove je opravdu des.. jestli tohle nekdo testoval a prislo mu to zabavny a obtiznost primerena a nebyl to soucasne autor velmi pochybuju. Jak je videt i recenzenti na to nemeli trpelivost, kdyz se to vubec rozhodli recenzovat. Magic Island vysel cca ze stejny dobe, recenze mel vsude, tohle bylo jen v Levelu, Score a Exkac podle me meli duvod proc do ty recenze nesli.. mozna, nechteli resit, ze jim nastvanej autor/vydavatel pribehne do kanclu.

P.S nemohli by treba autori ze zdrojaku vytahnout ucinost zbrani? Ono jestli jsou zdrojaky tak by urcite slo z toho udelat lepsi hru, opravit par tech systemu, jako smysluplnost procenta ucinnosti kouzel, rychlost utoku, zivoty u prvnich nepratel, nutnost lecit otravu zillionkrat tak, urcite by se z toho delal udelat daleko lepsi hra. Treba by slo i prelozit trochu toho textu do anglictiny, aby si to mohl zahrat i zbytek sveta.. a ve finale by treba nekdo mohl udelat i mod s barevnejma stenama.

I am very new to this, please be patient. I am trying to run Jewels of the Oracle, I have the original CD. I have Windows 10, 64-bit OS. I downloaded the Dosbox with Win 3.1 from this site, but I have no idea of what I am supposed to do. If I start in Windows, I can't find my CD drive. If I start in Dos, it tells me I have to mount a drive for the CED, I really don't get it. Could someone please be so kind as to tell me exactly what steps I have to take to get this to work? I recently downloaded WOLF and LION and they both run great but there are various issues.

WOLF
-A little slow
- Loading screens that have detailed explanations are now just jumbled messes of letters and symbols.
- When selecting your wolves, their pictures don’t appear. It is just a blank square

LION
-Absolutely NO sound :(
- sometimes slow

I noticed there are other files/packages that can be downloaded that contain more content, possibly what I am missing. However, it requires a premium account to download which I have absolutely no idea how to obtain.

I want to join Darko's request. Why setup.exe files can't be uploaded for users install a game easily? Sometimes it takes so much time to figure out how to adjust game settings and a term paper writer knows how valuable every minute can be.

Firstly, thanks to whoever created this dobox/Captive package. It has (until recently) worked brilliantly.

I've been playing it for about a week now, however when I start it now it will get to the pre-menu in dosbox where it asks you about sound/video options but it appears to have forgotten the previous configuration and its running incredibly slowly. It just freezes on that screen.
There was an error but I've been unable to catch it due to dosbox locking up the gui and me having to use the vulcan death grip to free my PC back to a usable state.

I don't know what other info to provide, please ask and I'll see what I can do.

Any ideas?

I have a question for you: is possible split downloaded dos games over 1,4mb on more floppies? I don't say a simple manual copy of files but i refer to the "old installation" like install.bat or setup.exe that call next floppy during the copy.

I've downloaded and installed the version of the game posted here complete with DosBox compatibility and it works great. It's a joy to have this old game from my youth running again. However, when I go to release a player—any player from any team—the game crashes back to Windows. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. Any thoughts on how to solve this? I'd love to update my rosters for the next season.

Lorenzo: After install any of the packages (from v2.00), you can run the game by clicking on the icon on your desktop, OR by running the file "#play.game.bat" in game folder...

I tried both the .exe and the cd-rom version of Dark Sun 1 and when I leave the slavepens for the sewers I get the following error: can't load game data in load teleport. Whats wrong?

I just installed the game flashback for windows 7 by running the package as an administrator. the problem is that after installation, I find no entry for Flashback in the start menu.
In the folder "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ OldGames.sk" I find the folder for Flashback, but I do not know how to run the game!

For importing party to Wiz7, you must have the file "SAVEGAME.DBS" - save from Wiz6 after ending and teleporting party to Enchanted Forest.
Copy "SAVEGAME.DBS" to your Wiz7 directory and rename (change extension) to "SAVEGAME.BCF". In game import dialog check the proper path.
Default path and filename for example:
Directory = C:\DSAVANT\
Filename = SAVEGAME.BCF

How are you today? I am fine. Anyway, i downloaded Thunderscape from this site 2 days ago, game itself is running smoothly, no problems there. The real problem is that everytime i re-enter level where i just killed all the monsters previously, they seem to respawn, as well as the NPC's with their introduction dialogues, like i never have been in that level before. This really annoying when i want to go sell my goods to the previous levels i have to kill everybody all over again. Anybody have Thunderscape installed? I was wondering did i do something wrong with the installation process or something? Any help would be appreaciated. Thank you

I've downloaded Fable, and the characters cannot speak, although I hear other environment sounds like a running river for example. Also, when I change DOSbox to full screen, the colors invert or something. Have others used this game and had these problems?

Hi guys. I downloaded Carmageddon yesterday and it runs fine on my laptop until I switch to full screen. After a short while playing in full screen mode the colours go all crazy like I'm on acid (no I'm not talking about the acid power up in the game). I see what looks like a horizontal line swipes down from the top of the screen and once the line passes over an area the colours are messed up. Can anyone help me with this? I'm running Windows 7 professional on a Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop. Also when I go full screen there's a wide black border all round the screen. I can press the "+" key to enlarge the screen size but it won't go truly full screen.

I appreciate any suggestions and please try not to get too technical as I'm not versed that much in the inner workings of computers

For the life of me I cannot get DosBos 7.4 to work on my Windows 7, 64 bit. I tried to 1st get it to run but, it seems like it starts to laod then I see the Dosbox screen then it just closes the winodow. Also, I tried to add some games to the game folder and I guess I messed it all up. Is there a " noob " friendly how-to install DosBox for Windows 7? Just new to the site, have found treasures of the savage frontier for the first time in years (at last!) however having downloaded both the documents attached to the game they do not contain the journal the game refers to when attempting to start adventuring(ie you must enter the word # on page # after heading... ) I have the rule book and clue book only. Can someone please link me to a copy of the journal, Thanks

FIX for TIE Fighter CD-ROM - joystick. At least for me. go to dosbox.play file. Open in notepad. Scroll down to the parts about the joystick.

I just downloaded this and unzipped it. Now what do I do to get it running? There is an image file that I do not know anything about. I think I need to do something with this but I need some help on what to do. When I click on it windows 7 indicates that I need to burn it to a disk. Same problem here. I had no problems with X-Wing and Tie Fighter (normal edition) but can't handle the joystick in the CD edition.

Haveing problem configering a flight stick with TIE Figter - CD. I do alt-c and go thouhght the promps, but when I go to the main screen the pointer will not center at all. Unplug my trackball and kept the flightstick pluged, same problem. This is the only game that I have downloaded here that has this problem. X-Wing works fine.

OK, I have managed to get to the game playing, but can't seem to figure out how to choose which human I want to use. Is there instructions for game playing somewhere? I just don't remember it's been so long.

I know that Z is the fire key, and you move them with the arrow keys. The space bar goes between the men in the blocks at the bottom of the frame, but how to lock on your choice, I can't remember. Also can't remember how to pick something up or drop it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It was may favorite PC game, but it was before we even had Internet connection here, and the PC was used for personal matters only, and a bit of game playing. I'll let you know how it goes.

Anyone have any suggestions here. Haven't played this game for a long time, and can't figure out how to get started. It says to match the image shown, and enter the 4-digit code to begin. Can't figure out how that is done. I've used the arrow keys, the number pad, anything I thought might work, and totally stumped. Any suggestions? I would love to have another go-round with this game. Have missed it for a long time.

I'm having trouble keeping the english.exe running it will run ok for 5-15 min then it will read about 30-100+ strings of code errors and shut down the Dos-box. In order to play it again I have to re-install the game and 90% of the time Dos-box as well. Any comments, fixes or a newer release of SpellCross would be greatly appreciated

I have been struggling with this for a while... Where are the character saves for Secret of the Silver Blades? Also, where are the save files? I downloaded the package here, but it appears that the characters' named files do not appear in a directory anywhere on my computer and though they appear in SOtSB's add menu after removal, neither they nor the actual saves appear in my folder structure under /save? I just want to move the characters' equipment over, as I hate starting of "blank" and built these up to SotSB's highest levels before planning to dual them in Pools of Darkness. But Pools cannot find any of them except the included DJ and Yenefer... which DO have save files... Help?

Do we have any experts on the old SSI gold box games here? I'm trying to move my PCs from the second gold box game, Curse of the Azure Bonds, to the third gold box game, Secret of the Silver Blades but I seem to be having trouble and I don't know why. Using CotAB I removed all of my PCs from the party so that they are saved PCs in Curse but for some reason I still cannot add them as new PCs in SotSB. I've tried using the menu to add PCs from Curse in SotSBs but for some reason it cannot find my PCs plus I have even tried to manually copy files from the Curse save directory to the Silver Blades save directory but nothing seems to work.

Both games were downloaded here and are the Old Games.sk editions of these games but for some reason I can't seem to transfer PCs from one game to the other and I would dearly love to since I've spent a lot of time building up these PCs. Can anyone offer any helpful suggestions?

I've actually solved Pool and have downloaded Curse of the Azure Bonds from this site and I'm expecting it to be just as much fun as I remember back in the 80's/early90's. The only problem is I seem to be having trouble transferring my party from pool to curse. I'm sure this is an easy fix but I'm kind of a computer newb so any help would be appreciated.

If your system is Windows, try to download and play my (exe) package.
Otherwise - Solving the `Insert Disk 3` issue:
There is a POOL.CFG file in the directory
When you open this in Notepad you'll see the following lines.

You must adjust the config file yourself to the location where the files are relative to the dosbox mount.

Hey folks, new poster here. I've been trying to play the Pool of Radiance game using DosBox and everything boots up fine but when it comes time to create a new character I get a message to "insert disk 3 into c:\". Now, I remember shuffling through 8 floppy disks back when I used to play this game on my old C64 in the late 80's but all of the files are now in one directory on my hard drive (c:\poolrad) so why is it asking me for another disk? The game just totally freezes at this point and I don't know what to do. Can anyone please help?
