Hi-Octane je závodná akčná hra od firmy BullFrog, ktorá funguje na upravenom engine hry Magic Carpet. Hra ponúka na výber 6 vznášadiel s rozdielnymi vlastnosťami (rýchlosť, brnenie, útočná sila...) a 6 dráh na závodenie. K dispozícii sú aj zbrane a to guľomet a rakety. Na tratiach sa nachádzajú rôzne bonusy. Hi-Octane je veľmi podobná hrám od iných výrobcov, ako Wipeout od Psygnosis a Slipstream 5000 od Software Refinery...
