The Godfather: The Action Game is a 2D action shooter with horizontal scrolling, based on the famous film of the same name by F. F. Coppola (based on a book by Mario Puzo) about the rise of the Sicilian mafia clan Corleone in America between 1940-1980. The game contains five levels, each with its own graphics representing one decade during this period. The player's position in the family (respect) increases with the number of shooted enemies and decreases with each killed civilian.
